US chart-topping American singer-songwriter Sari Schorr is returning to UK stages to perform fourteen headline shows in April and May – and today she announces she will premiere her new album in full at each of her UK dates.
At a time when streaming dominates the consumption of music albums in the UK, Sari has decided to ensure her concert-going fans are the very first people to hear her new studio album, which is due for official release on 1 August 2025. In addition to playing the new album in full at every UK date, ticket-buyers will also receive a free streaming link to the new studio album at the end of each show – four months before the album is officially released worldwide, in download and physical formats.
For her return to the UK this April, Sari’s new Spring tour will have a completely different format to all previous UK shows:
- The set will be split into two halves – the new album will be played live in the first half and, after an interval, the second half of the show will comprise of requests from the audience drawing on Sari’s recorded catalogue. This will make every show different.
- Sari will be bringing a new band line up to the UK, and for the first time, featuring two guitarists in the band: Ash Wilson and Jamie Walker.
- In addition, the music videos for the singles from the forthcoming album will be filmed during the UK tour. A live album will also be recorded, and this physical album release will feature one track from each of the 13 venues hosting Sari’s UK tour.
Sari comments: “Rock and blues today is all about live music, and the grassroots clubs and theatres around the UK need to be supported. According to industry reports, one UK venue is being forced to close its doors every fortnight and we all need to work a lot harder to protect the future of live music on our doorstep. That’s why I am putting my live audience first this year. My new studio album is the best thing I’ve done but rather than chase chart numbers, I want the people who support live shows to hear it first. New music has to be a thank you for those who stand up for artists and help keen local venues open. We will also be recording a live version of the new studio album during the tour and shooting single videos at several shows – so, in every sense, I’m hoping to walk the talk on supporting local venues and saying a big thank you to those music fans that help keep them open.”

About Sari Schorr
With a five-octave range and a diverse vocal skill set, Sari Schorr sets herself apart. Born in Queens, New York, working the music scene on Manhattan’s Lower East Side to performing at Carnegie Hall and touring internationally, Sari Schorr directs her passion for music as a timeless force to unify people.
From her travels around the world, Sari sees music and the arts as under attack. Art and culture have always been a beacon of freedom and a unifying element of society. Music empowers and unites, accepts difference and values individualism.
Throughout Sari’s journey, life experiences—both heartbreaking and seemingly debilitating—have only deepened her aura of raw resilience and unwavering strength. Being a first responder after the 9/11 attacks, a volunteer aid worker after the Haiti earthquake, and doing humanitarian work in India have all shaped Sari’s character and informed her music. Despite the pain she has witnessed, Sari finds silver linings in every experience. She stays true to her art, rejecting artificial success, empty glorification, and meaningless lyrics. Sari paves the way for a vision of unity made possible with a shared love for music, holding a mirror to the world to say we are all one people. People are kind, people are compassionate. Hate fuels discrimination, and fear stifles our ability to think creatively.
Throughout her career as a musician, Sari has been told to ‘shut up and sing’ when speaking out on crisis or relevant societal topics such as gun control, racism and equality. Such irony can be drawn from this because Sari’s lyrics are entrenched in global issues and a passion that resonates with audiences of all cultures and geographies. No line is random and no word is empty in the music she writes. Topics like self-empowerment, confronting hatred, taking chances, embracing life, forgiveness and facing loneliness shape the heart of Sari’s music, delivering raw, honest, and deeply resonant storytelling. Sari writes about the psychological toll of surviving domestic and sexual abuse, speaking for the disenfranchised and those facing injustice who do not have a voice.
