Welcome to The Bristol Gig Guide.
The Bristol Gig Guide was created by local landscape and music photographer The Bristol Nomad in an effort to help protect and promote the vibrant Bristol music scene. The venues we love and the bands that play them, both local and touring.
It is our aim to do as much as possible to foster the city that we loves diverse music scene and culture. If we can help put a extra 1, 10, 100 people on the door for our venues and bands then we are fulfilling the aim of the guide.
The Guide blends The Bristol Nomads two great passions of photography and live music. And what started out as a solo project has blossomed into a multifaceted team of photographers, videographers and reviewers that week after week cover as much of the city’s music scene as possible.
In an age of digital downloads and streaming, touring has become an ever increasingly important way of bands to not only thrive, but survive. And the same can be said of the venues the bands play in.
We will provide you with full gig listings, venue information, gig previews, reviews and interviews. As well as some awesome gig shots from not only The Bristol Nomad, but the whole TBGG collective.
