Dizzee Rascal is one of the most successful British rappers of all time after being catapulted to stardom in the early 2000s by his Mercury Prize-winning debut album, Boy In Da Corner.
The BRIT and MOBO award-winning grime pioneer went on to earn global recognition with his platinum-selling fourth album, Tongue N’ Cheek, which featured the UK Number One singles ‘Dance Wiv Me’ (featuring Cavin Harris), ‘Bonkers’, ‘Holiday’and ‘Dirtee Disco’.
Dizzee Rascal released his eighth studio album, Don’t Take It Personal, earlier this year and will bring his collection of chart-topping hits to the main stage for the inaugural BS3 event.
MOBO and NME award-winning British rapper Stefflon Don also joins the stellar line-up at Ashton Gate Stadium, only a year after performing on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury.
The platinum-selling sensation, who rose to fame with Top 10 single Hurtin’ Me with French Montana, has featured on songs from Anne Marie, Sean Paul, Nile Rodgers and Wiley with her cutting verses, while her second mixtape Secure charted in the Top 40.
There will also be a special homecoming for Bristol native Roni Size, widely recognised as one of the most important drum ‘n’ bass pioneers thanks to the critical and commercial success of his Mercury Prize-winning, platinum-selling debut album, New Forms.
The line-up also features the internationally renowned British R&B boyband Damage, who made their name in the late 1990s with four UK Top 10 singles before rising to prominence again on ITV2’s The Big Reunion in 2014 following a 10-year break from releasing music.
House Gospel Choir promise to keep the big tunes coming with the London-based vocal group, founded more than 10 years ago by Founder and Creative Director Natalie Maddix, combining two distinct musical genres to deliver an unforgettable live experience.
Bristol’s very own R&B and Hip Hop sensation Krush completes the line-up, having recently featured on BBC introducing and previously supported the Wu-Tang Clan’s GZA and infamous Hip Hop legend Immortal Technique with her unique musical style.
