Marble Factory, 2nd March
On a chilly night in Bristol a group of Londons finest musicians took to the stage to perform ‘The History of drum and bass’ held at the @themarblefactory, paying homage to some of the biggest names in D&B, artists such as Andy C, High Contrast, Goldie, Benny Page and Roni Size to name a few.
This bass heavy show combining real drums, synths, guitar, horns, strings and a powerful female lead vocalist in Kate Brown. It’s a must see show if you grew up listening to D&B like i did. The musicians really brought a shit tonne of energy to arena and smashed it out the park. A walk through all of the huge anthems by the biggest and best artists, the trendsetters of the D&B scene producing the dancefloor bangers we all know and love.
Personal highlight for me was Shy Fx- Feel for you baby, a prominent song throughout my raving days a real feel good track with so many beautiful memory’s linked to it, like practically all of the songs played on the night.
Would highly reccomened checking these guys out for this tour, plus anything they put their hands too in the future. @dnbliveofficial
