Review – Miss Kill

The Crofters Rights – March 20th 2022

We first discovered Miss Kill almost three years ago and have been fans of the two siblings ever since.
So it’s great to see them continue to develop their sound and become pretty much staples of the live music scene in the city.

Each passing song that emerges shows a greater level of depth and maturity. That shows the band is on the correct path.

This also shows with the live performance. As does the maturity that comes from having to deal with a lengthy early delay due to technical issues. This delay only further entertains the busy crowd as Alannah & Felicity engage in some sisterly back n forth banter.

What has also become evident over time is the scope of song has become increasingly wider, the tempos more varied. At heart Miss Kill will always stick to their grunge based, garage rock, but the ability to mix up styles will serve them very well.

Another impressive outing from the duo, who we’ve yet to see have an off night.
