Barn on the Farm is one of the UK’s leading independent music festivals that is home to both the indie big-hitters and next year’s breakout stars. Offering attendees a weekend utopia of new music set in the idyllic setting of Over Farm, Barn – as it’s known by the regulars – is a festival that encourages collaboration and kinship by bringing together a community of artists and festival-goers. They will be joining the BRIT and NME award-winning, Ivor Novello and BBC Sound of 2022 nominated Holly Humberstone and New Jersey rock band, fronted by the eight-time Grammy Award-winning record producer and songwriter Jack Antonoff, Bleacherswho will both be playing their very first festival headline slots – as Barn’s headliners, with a special secret headliner booked for the Intimate Thursday too.

Also announced to join the bill this year is a new special guest FIZZ (@yourfavebandfizz).  With bandmates who are still yet to be officially revealed but have already been dubbed an ‘indie supergroup’ the band will be making their first festival appearance at Barn since their debut at The Great Escape last month. In its twelfth year, Barn On The Farm has grown from an intimate friends and family event to one of the UK’s most exciting and groundbreaking new music festivals, giving the biggest and most successful British artists including Ed Sheeran and Lewis Capaldi, as well as breakout US stars like Maggie Rogers, their first ever festival headline slots. Such is the spirit and essence of Barn On The Farm, artists return to the festival year after year, making multiple appearances in ever-growing slots with returning artists having included Griff, Maisie Peters, Easy Life and The Staves. Barn finds artists early in their career and champions them all the way through the festival stages, providing a space of collaboration at Over Farm in Gloucester.

Last June, Barn On The Farm welcomed over 3000 festival goers to the farm, with a lineup that spanned some of the most enduring names in British music, including Bombay Bicycle Club and special guests The Vaccines, as well as incredible new talent including Easy Life, Beabadoobee and Griff. Capturing the spirit and ethos of Barn – a festival that has more in common with artist-led gatherings of the 1970s than modern, heavily branded events – every year Barn On The Farm encourages artist collaboration with the “Farm Band”. Getting six artists together to reimagine and rearrange their songs, last year Holly Humberstone, Dylan Fraser, Flyte, Maisie Peters, JP Saxe and Rob Milton collaborated for a surprise performance on The Wooden Barn Stage. Alumni of Barn include Sam Fender, Maggie Rogers, Wolf Alice, Tom Misch, Dermot Kennedy, George Ezra, Ed Sheeran, Hozier, The Staves & more.
