Music News – LOVE SAVES THE DAY ANNOUNCES MEGASTARS SUGABABES FOR SUNDAY SLOT

Bristol’s biggest independent festival reveals an epic Sunday headliner on the nation’s day of love

Love Saves The Day invites followers to share the love with a very special valentines announcement that has been scattered across Bristol city in golden letters. The treasure hunt starts today, and those who find one of these letters in various corners of the city will win two Sunday tickets to the festival, where Sugababes will now be performing.

After 25 years of smash hits, Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan from one of the biggest girl groups of all time have delivered countless anthems. Synonymous with years of valentines frenzy, the Sugababes join an impressive list of headliners including Fatboy Slim, Years & Years and Andy C. The festival will return to Ashton Court on 27 and 28 May 2023 – tickets are on sale now at lovesavestheday.org

Today’s love letter from the festival quotes one of the Sugababes’ most famous songs:

“I know everything changes.

All the cities and faces.

But I know how I feel about you.

There’s a mountain between us.

But there’s one thing I’m sure of.

That I know how I feel about you …”

Tom Paine, director of LSTD stated, “I’m thrilled for Sugababes to be joining us at Ashton Court in 2023, it’s been a remarkable comeback for one of the most loved British pop groups, and I hope everyone is as excited as I am to see their debut Love Saves the Day performance.”

From the height of British girl band fame, the trio of original members from North London will be gracing the Loves Saves stage alongside fellow headliners Nia Archives, Kelis and Piri and much more. The long-standing Queens of pop will raise the roof with the nation’s favourite songs, including the emotive ‘About You Now’, Love Actually’s ‘Too Lost in You’ or the upbeat classic, ‘Push The Button’. After a triumphant return to their roots at the start of last year, the Sugababes celebrate the love, the only way they know how.

Tickets for Love Saves the Day are available now.
