Music News – ARCTANGENT FESTIVAL 2023 (ATG) announces seven bands over the week as part of its annual ATG Advent Calendar

A band a day were announced over 7 days, and the bands and announcement partners are: ’68 (with Upset Magazine), Heilung (with Louder), Pupil Slicer (with Rock Sound), Tokky Horror (with Distorted Sound), Birds In Row (with Knotfest), The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die (with Punktastic) and Converge (with Kerrang!)

Other acts already announced include Deafheaven (playing ‘Sunbather’ in full as a UK exclusive), The Fall Of Troy, Cave In, Igorrr, Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs, Elder, Russian Circles, Svalbard, Jaga Jazzist and many more

Following on from the last weeks ARCTANGENT Festival 2023 annual ‘Advent Calendar’, where one band a day were announced on a different media platform each day, we can now announce all bands in full from the announcement.So, the bands and announcement partners are: American noise duo from Atlanta Georgia ’68 (with Upset Magazine), a main stage headliner in Heilung, the phenomenal experimental folk band with members from Denmark, Germany and Norway (with Louder) and London 3 piece (and one of the finest heavy bands in the UK right now) Pupil Slicer (with Rock Sound). Also announced are punk collective Tokky Horror (with Distorted Sound), French hardcore band par excellence Birds In Row (with Knotfest), Connecticut progressive indie rock band The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die (with Punktastic) and another main stage headliner, returning legends and one of the greatest bands in the world, Converge (with Kerrang!).Festival organiser James Scarlett, on this latest announcement –  I’m so excited to have Heilung headlining the Friday Main Stage at ATG. I honestly believe it could end up as the best headline set we’ve ever had. They bring an absolutely incredible live show the likes of which ATG has never seen before – there are warriors, there is fire and there is absolutely extraordinary music. Get involved! Oh yeah and oh my god it’s Converge too!”The festival has already announced a host of incredible bands including Deafheaven (performing ‘Sunbather’ in full as a UK exclusive), The Fall Of Troy, Cave In, Igorrr, Pigs7, Russian Circles, Svalbard and more. They have also announced a handful of bands for the Wednesday (4 day ticket holders only have access to this day), which include Scalping and Conjurer
