Sebadoh, Tuesday 1st October

The Fleece, Bristol

All the way from Massachusetts, USA. Veteran Indie Rockers Sebadoh play a highly anticipated show at the Fleece tonight, which is heading for a sell out. Only a few tickets remain so grab yours quickly here.

Lou, Bob and Jason bring the iconic Sebadoh sound of fuzzy guitar & wistful, yet uplifting lyrics to Bristol as they continue on the UK leg of their European tour for new album “Act Surprised”.

It’s been a full 30 years since the first Sebadoh album. In a career that has seen a total of 9 studio records as well as multiple EP’s.

Act Surprised continues the soulful collaboration that’s defined the band since 1991’s Sebadoh III and 1994’s Bakesale. The new batch of songs reaffirms how vital the creative partnership is between members Lou Barlow, Jason Loewenstein, and Bob D’Amico.

Sebadoh have delivered one of the best records of their career. Act Surprised is a 15-song collection that’s as dynamic and visceral as anything the band has ever committed to tape.

So expect a trip down memory lane. As well as a glimpse of where the future might take the band as they take their sound both forward and sideways at the same time.
