| It’s bonus EP time for Sydney’s Yours Truly, with the band today unveiling a whole new version of their recent EP is this what i look like?; enteris this what i lofi?, a blissed out reimagining of the original release’s seven tracks. In between dropping is this what i look like? back in July to touring America, Canada, Europe and the UK, and currently charming audiences around the country for their Australian headline tour, is this what i lofi? offers a chilled, crystalline and utterly immersive experience, showcasing the band’s original songs in a whole new light, as well as the quartet’s own listening habits when gaming in their rare downtime. “After working on an interactive game for our EP is this what i look like? we wanted to add lofi versions of all our songs to the game as we all like to listen to chill lofi playlists while we game,” explain the band of the origins behind is this what i lofi?. “After hearing the tracks we all thought “this needs to come out as a whole EP release” and that was how is this what i lofi? came to be! People can listen to the original tracks to be hyped, but if they want something a little more chill – we have these versions now.” From Yours Truly‘s recent release of a virtual online gaming experience to accompany is this what i look like? to vocalist Mikaila Delgado featuring on the Bayonetta 3 video game soundtrack in October, is this what i lofi? is a fitting addition to a year of game-adjacent highs and overall innovative exploration for Yours Truly. Previously supporting I Prevail and Pierce The Veil across America earlier this year, with sold out headline dates in the UK also in their 2022 wake, Yours Truly are closing out the year with five shows left for their current Aussie headline tour, including a sold out show taking place tonight at Mojo’s in Fremantle. The band are also primed to unforgettably leap into the new year ahead, with a European run supporting You Me At Six locked and loaded for late February and early March, before leaping into a six-date UK headline tour with special guests South Arcade and Lizzy Farrall.
