Bristol 02 Academy, Friday 8th October
The moment we have been waiting for has arrived!!!! Bristol’s favourite adopted sons, from over the bridge, return on a mission to make the O2 Academy BOUNCE!!! And lets be fair….NO ONE …. NO ONE !!! gets a venue bouncing like these boys…. don’t believe us? Just watch below for a taste of what you can expect.
The is liable to be the best atmosphere the O2 has seen post lockdown, so grab a ticket and get ready…This is your warning! warning! warning! warning!
Fresh from Bloodstock and Download Pilot, the boys are ready, match fit and set to sell out.
Bristol and Skindred have become synonymous with each other down the years. So not having seen or experienced a Newport Helicopter live, for over two years, both band and crowd will be buzzing for it to be circling over Bristol.
Garnering a reputation as one of the best live acts on the circuit, the four dragons (Benji Webbe, lead vocals, synthesiser) (Daniel Pugsley, bass, programming, backing vocals) (Mikey Demus, guitars, backing vocals) (Arya Goggin, drums) have continually reinvented their live sets to keep fans guessing as to what to expect, other than a blistering show that leaves you shirtless (literally) sweating and smiling from ear to ear.
A band that has refused to be pigeon holed during a career spanning almost 25 years. The genre busters have a plethora of material to mix up their set, drawing on a back catalogue of 7 albums. And with VERY strong rumours of a impending new album, we might just get treated to a new track or two.
Like your music heavy? Skindred are for you. Like your music with a bit of punk, hip hop, electronica and reggae? Skindred are for you. Like to get rowdy and feel the bass thump in your chest? Skindred are definitely for you.
Don’t try and define it, just feel it, live it and enjoy it….
But be quick as multiple shows have already completely sold out. And Bristol is certain to follow.
With support on board from the epic Trashboat and RXPTRS we are in for a hell of a show…. probably advisable to book the next day off from work, just saying.
Grab one of the few remaining tickets HERE and come feel the “Pressure”
