Review – Enter Red

The Thekla, 4th May 2022

If there is any justice in the musical world 2022 will be a breakout year for Enter Red.

A band we’ve seen support & headline multiple times that just ouse quality.

They have the songs, they have the stage presence, they have the charisma and they are rapidly gaining the fan base to match.

Despite hitting the stage at 630pm on a weeknight E.R pulled a solid crowd as they smashed out a repertoire of songs that are loaded with ear wormingly good riffs. It quickly becomes apparent to those watching that E.R are not a standard, run of the mill, indie-rock band. They can shimmer and shift gear with ease. As demonstrated by radio level tracks such as “De Novo” & “Pin Drops”. By the time brand new single “Motion” (which has one of the best outros we’ve heard this year) hit,  the crowd were utterly sold on Kyle (lead vocals/guitar ), Liam (Guitar), Tom (Bass) & Ben (Drums).

It feels like each single released by the quartet takes them another leap forward . And it’s only a matter of time before something big happens for one of the best local bands on the circuit.
Finishing up as is tradition with “Blossom” Enter Red are a band you just wanna tell your friends about.
Go. See. Them. Live!
