Just a shade over twenty-four months ago, our musical odyssey led us to the packed confines of Louisiana, where a burgeoning artist was already making waves as one of the breakout sensations of the year.
Fast forward to the present, and the scene is set in a grander locale – the sold-out expanse of The Fleece which now has the responsibility of containing this celestial force, who has blossomed into the star long prophesized.
With venues across the UK bowing to capacity, and a stint supporting Bring Me The Horizon on their global tour, Cassyette – hailing from Essex – has not only amassed streams in the millions but continues to breathe new life into the punk and metal realms.
From the ethereal soundscape of “Jean” in 2019 to the raw energy of 2024’s Cassyette’s evolution is palpable, culminating in a stage presence that screams rockstar. The reception is nothing short of adulation as she steps into the limelight, greeted by a surge of bodies and a cacophony of high-pitched cheers.
As “Like That” reverberates through the venue, the crowd is ensnared in a frenzy of movement and sound, testament to Cassyette’s ability to captivate. Her eighteen-song repertoire showcases not only her tireless work ethic but also her versatility, seamlessly transitioning from pop to rock to punk to metal.
Yet, it’s Cassyette’s unparalleled ability to forge a connection with her audience that truly sets her apart. Each lyric feels like a personal revelation, drawing listeners into a shared experience that sends shivers down spines and raises hairs on end.
As the final notes echo through the rafters of Bristol’s most iconic venue, one thing is abundantly clear – when Cassyette graces the city once more, it will be our largest venue , succumbing to the magnetic pull of her unparalleled artistry.
