Los Angeles’ indie-rock sensation, Bittersweethearts, is set to ignite Bristol’s Thunderbolt on March 9th, sharing a dynamic double headline with south coast Alt-Rockers, Skinny Knowledge.
Bittersweethearts deliver ethereal Tarantino-inspired rock vibes, concocting a sonic blend reminiscent of Blondie and Mazzy Star, unleashed in the gritty atmosphere of a CBGB’s back alley in Manhattan’s East Village, with a tantalizing garnish of Shirley Manson.
Having burst onto the scene at the prestigious NAMM Show in Anaheim, Bittersweethearts have since graced hallowed venues like Whisky A Go Go and The Viper Room on the electrifying canvas of the US West Coast, leaving audiences spellbound with their magnetic performances.
Meanwhile, Skinny Knowledge, the formidable 4-piece alt-rock outfit from England’s south coast, forged in 2020 under the charismatic leadership of frontman Andy L Smooth, channels the raw and raucous spirit of early ’90s grunge and pop-punk. Their sonic resonance echoes the likes of Foo Fighters, Green Day, Nirvana, Dinosaur Pile-Up, and Sum 41, delivering an exhilarating live experience charged with unbridled energy.
Heralded by Kerrang and embraced by diverse music platforms, Skinny Knowledge’s track ‘Class A-Dummy’ earned the coveted title of Wyatt Wendels’ Planet Rock New Rock Show Track of the Week. Their anthem ‘I Wonder’ secured the spotlight as Classic Rock Magazine’s “Track of the Week,” solidifying their ascent. From BBC Introducing to Amazing Radio and beyond, Skinny Knowledge’s sonic reverberations continue to capture the attention of music aficionados far and wide.
