Friday 27th of September at The Louisiana
Our gig of the week this week see’s Bristol Gig Guide focus on a band we have had our eye on for a while CUFFS!
The ready made headliners will feature on the same bill as Way Back When, Sonic Sunrise and Dear Anyone this Friday at The Louisiana.
Expect raw energy with a political edge from the young men who only formed as a foursome back in February of this year when vocalist Brodie Morgans answered a Facebook add from Guitarist Matthew Cook and Drummer Lewis Harwood.
Adding Bassist, Will Grant the boys have quickly garnered themselves a reputation around the city for their Frank Carter / Gallowsesque performances.
Guaranteed heavy riffs, fuzzy bass, hard hitting drums combined with Brodie’s raw, pain driven vocals and stage presence will make this one not to be missed.
Describing the bands sound, Brodie says “We try our best to express our opinions the best we can through our instruments and voices. We respect anyone willing to take action against the racist and unjustifiable torment that the current political system in the UK puts on people.
If someone hasnt seen any of our live shows so far and asked us what we’re like, I think the best advice I can give is to be ready to question the system around you. And have a damn good time while you do it. Every show we’ve played is getting wilder and more enjoyable for everybody involved. Just be ready to sweat”.
Doors open on Friday at 730pm and tickets are £5 in advance. Click HERE to get yours
