First attended gig: Republica, circa 1996.

First gig shot: Hands Off Gretel, at The Louisiana!

Dream gig: Huge metalhead and my ultimate dream gig would be shooting my heroes Slipknot at a huge stadium gig, or as festival headliners. And to experience shooting a headline tour outside the UK

Kate Jeffrie @katejeffrie

Role: Lead Writer / Interviewer

I review gigs, and interview bands and musicians.

Available For: Gig Reviews, band interviews

Qualification: I study English Literature at the University of Bristol.

First attended gig: The first gig I remember going to see was Lewis Watson when I was 13, at a pub a few towns over from where I lived. My friends and I all loved him, and I remember how shocked I was that someone I had on this pedestal could be stood on a stage just a few feet away, drinking a beer and playing guitar!

First gig reviewed: The first gig I ever reviewed was Palace at the O2 Academy Bristol. As a band I wasn’t particularly well acquainted with, it  was a testament to how live music can bowl someone over, even when it’s coming from strangers.

Dream gig: My dad saw The Smiths on their first tour, and since they’re my favourite band, I think seeing them in an intimate venue would be a dream

Jess Siggers @porthjess

Role: Photographer.

Available For: Gig Shoots, Photo Shoots, Album and Single cover shoots

Qualification: I’m a Royal Photographic Society member, and achieved my first RPS digital photography qualification earlier this year. I’m currently working on getting my next RPS award, and then I’m hoping to start working towards a licentiate.

First attended gig: East 17 at the Colston Hall (now known as the Bristol Beacon) in 1994, when I was 15!

First gig shot: Blackheath Festival in 2018 was probably my first proper pit experience, as well as being the event which made me realise how much I loved shooting live music; just as much as I love being there as a punter.

Dream gig: I’m lucky enough to have already seen pretty much all of my heroes live. I’ve also shot four of them: Manics, Paul Weller, New Order & Kae Tempest. I’m also obsessed with Blondie – and have seen them live – but capturing Debbie Harry would be the ultimate dream.

Misc: I’m a sucker for anything original post-punk, New Wave, shoegaze, or Britpop. Any 80’s or 90’s bands need covering, and I’m there.

Isaac Stubbings @ilnsimages

Role: Photographer

I’m a photographer, available for gigs and promos.

Qualification: I study Photography at the University of the West of England, Bristol.

Available for: Gig Shoots, Photo Shoots, Album and Single cover shoots and Touring

First attended gig: The first gig I went to was to see the band Beach House in Brighton when I was about 14. It was in a big church and I remember the dreamy vocals and synths sounded amazing with the acoustics of the place. After that, I was hooked on the experience of going to see live music.

First gig shot: In college I shot a couple of my friends’ bands in tiny venues, but I think the first proper gig I shot was Newdad at Thekla. Wanting to get back into music photography, I reached out – not really expecting to hear back – and it meant a lot to me when I was put on the list to shoot one of my favourite bands. It was such an enjoyable and rewarding experience for me, so after that I was set on pursuing it further.

Dream gig: Big question. There are so many I could think of, but it would have to be The Cure in a small intimate venue.

First gig shot: My first photo gig was The Stranglers at O2 Academy Bristol, in March 2019. My first writing and photo gig was Bastille at Marble Factory, in February 2022.

Dream gig: Taylor Swift, 100%. No doubt.

First attended gig: The first gig I ever went to was to watch Bad Sounds at SWX in Bristol. The last was Conan Gray!

First gig shot: The first gig I ever shot was for an amazing band called Overpass.

Dream gig: I would die to see, shoot, or interview Loyle Carner!

Matt Sheppard @mattsheppardphoto

Available for: Gig Shoots, Photo Shoots, Album and Single cover shoots, and Touring

First attended gig: It was Kids in Glass Houses, at the Bristol O2 Academy.

First gig shot: The first gig I ever shot was for shooting my friends in the band RXPTRS, at Exchange, in Bristol.

Dream gig: It’s hard to think of a ‘dream gig’, as I’ve seen most of my bucket-list bands over time. I’m yet to see Green Day, though, so I’d have to choose them.

Kate Feast @katefeastphotography

Role: Photographer / Reviewer / Interviewer

Photographer, live music reviewer and visual artist. I’m also available for gigs, tours, live music reviews, promos, portraits, and artwork.

Qualification: Working towards my BA in Documentary photography and Print at Boomsatsuma, Bristol.

Available for: Gig Shoots, Gig Reviews, Photo Shoots, Album and Single cover shoots, Interviews and Touring

First attended gig: The first gig I ever went to was Sugababes in the BIC, Bournemouth, 2008. I grew up surrounded by music and absorbed a variety of genres. Although my taste sways to the heavier side of music, I still have a soft spot for pop.

First gig shot and reviewed: The first gig I shot was probably a heavy local punk show. I tagged along with my dad, going to dingy pub gigs.  From 14 I borrowed his DSLR camera, practising whenever I could. I met some great people who still support my creative work to this day. At 15 I got my own camera (which I still shoot with now!)

The first gig I reviewed was Wolf Alice this year. As one of my favourite bands, this was a surreal experience for me. Going as Adie’s plus one, he asked if I wanted to have a go at the show’s review; I did, and the rest was history.

Dream gig: My dream gig shoot would be Deftones as they’re my favourite band! Nine Inch Nails, Lady Gaga, Foals, and dodie would also be amazing. That’s a massive mix of genres, but the photo pit would be so fun!

Dan Rose @danrose.uk

Role: Photographer

I’m primarily a photographer for both concerts and festivals, and am also available for BTS photos, portraits, promo shoots and tour photography. I also write the occasional review.

Available for: Gig Shoots, Photo Shoots, Album and Single cover shoots and Touring

First attended gig: My most memorable early concert experience was seeing Eminem in 2014 at Wembley Stadium. This was a very pivotal moment in my life as it reinforced why I love music so much and reignited my passion for it.

First gig shot: The very first artist I photographed live was the DJ and producer Nathan Dawe at SWX Bristol. This was an incredibly fulfilling start to concert photography, as I was on stage with him during his set, and even hung out backstage afterwards.

Dream gig: My top 5 dream artists to one day photograph would be Eminem, J. Cole, Rod Wave, Jon Bellion, and Logic. One of my favourite artists, Juice WRLD, is sadly no longer alive, and I wish I had had the opportunity to see him perform live and photograph him.

I’m a professional photographer, and I love to shoot festivals, events, and gig-goers. I’m also an editor, specialising in music videos.

Qualification: BA (hons) in Documentary Film Making from the University of Newport.

Available for: Gig Shoots, Photo Shoots, Album and Single cover shoots and Touring

First attended gig: One of the first gigs I ever went to on my own was Chase & Status in 2008. My mates and I covered ourselves in glow paint, only to sweat it off jumping and dancing. It was the start of my never-ending gig list.

First gig shot: Technically the first band I ever shot would have been my dad’s, at the age of 9! My mum gave me this giant tape camcorder and I filmed the entire thing. Since then, I’ve shot plenty of friends’ bands whilst co-managing the live music venue, Le Pub in Newport, and I haven’t stopped since.

Dream gig: I would love to see CASisDEAD, Slow Club, Enter Shikari, Dizzee Rascal (in the Boy In The Corner era), Turnstile, and The Prodigy.

First attended gig: Bowling For Soup at the Cambridge Junction! It was an acoustic set and it was class.

First gig shot: The first gig I shot was Psychedelic Porn Crumpets at Thekla, a few years back.

Dream gig: My dream gig would have to be Radiohead, and the dream support act would be Everything Everything. That would be the holy grail gig for me

First attended gig: The first gig I ever went to was to see John Carpenter perform his film scores at the Bristol Beacon.

First gig shot: The first show I shot was a battle of the bands for Amplified Festival in 2017, at the Frog and Fiddle in Cheltenham. I went to capture photos for a degree project in photojournalism about music subcultures and that all snowballed into now working with musicians today, and being able to cover Bloodstock Festival!

Dream gig: My dream gig would have been Joy Division, but the ultimate goal is to one day be able to photograph or film a gig of my all-time favourite artist, Com Truise!
