Review – Alternative Milks

The Louisiana, 7th April 2022

Socks and sandal-wearing-four-piece-out-of-the-box- and other cool things, alternative rock band Alternative Milks brought their quirky guitars and vibrant stage presents to their Louisiana set. Eccentric and lively, Alternative Milks really wooed the crowd too, I think everyone appreciated their fast tempo drums and tight bass lines.

My favourite track being ‘Too Much To’ because of the spirited and honestly really catchy guitar riff, not to mention the excellent tone too. With lyrics touching on some political and social issues, there are some post punk influences but with playful undertones.

Supported by Mass House, exploratory synth punk 2 piece and Kick Boy, 3 piece indie rock ( two bands I discovered at this gig, that I will definitely see again) This was definitely a charming line up for experimental alternative music adorers.
